Day trip to Ifrane
The day trip to the Middle Atlas, cedar forest, Azrou and Ifran, starts with a pick up from your accommodation in Fes. Then visit the Middle Atlas Mountains, and also Ifrane a ski town in the high peaks of Morocco. Thereafter, follow the trails through the cedar forests to meet the Barbary macaque, and have a chance to feed them. In addition to that visit Daiet Aoua lake, and also the city of Azrou. Finally, we drop you off at your hotel in Fes.
ITINERARY : DAY TRIP TO AZROU, CEDAR FOREST AND IFRANE
The day trip starts by picking you up from your accommodation in Fes. Then, we drive south through the small town of Immouzer Kandar. Then we take a detour to the magnificent Daiet Aoua lake: and admire the surrounding hills. Thereafter, we continue to visit Ifrane, famous for its low temperature, snow and the alpine-style houses -No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we drive to Azrou to visit the cedars forest, where the Barbary Macaques live. Feel free to feed them while wandering in the forest. Finally, we drive back to Fes.
Depending on time spend in sites, we might visit additional places.
