Morocco has been the most visited nation in North Africa in recent years, and it is one of the safest countries in the world, with over 10 million tourists in the past few years. Generally seen as a secure destination and the terrorist attacks are thankfully rare in Morocco compared to France, Belgium, and the UK. As a traveler, you are unlikely to be assaulted or seriously hurt because there is a low level of crime, and the Moroccan government has raised infrastructure investment and security measures to attract more visitors and provide more security
There is really no time of year when you wouldn’t enjoy your trip to Morocco; although you should keep in mind that it tends to get a little too crowded with tourists during the winter holidays season. Then it’s up to you to decide what season suits you the best to come to visit, according to your schedule and preferences. The weather in Morocco is more on the mild side during Spring and Autumn (from March to May and from September to November respectively).
For these reasons, the temperatures could be ranging anywhere from 11° to 32°C. Winter usually lasts from December to February, with a relatively low-temperature range (7° to 21°C). You should also expect to see snowfall in Morocco’s mountainous regions. As for Summer (from June to August), temperatures can land anywhere between 19°C and 40°C in the middle of the day.
Spring and fall are the most popular seasons for a Morocco adventure, with kimkim travelers choosing May and September as their prime vacation time. The weather is at its best countrywide, where the nights in the Sahara won’t be as chilly as in the winter nor sweltering hot in the summer, and the beaches remain inviting, though best visited in September.
Meanwhile, touring the cities during these months is relatively enjoyable with the more agreeable weather; it’s less sweltering inland in places like Fes and Marrakesh during the day. You may also find discount prices on tours and accommodation earlier in spring and later in fall (barring the holidays). That said, Morocco is a destination worth visiting at any time of year, as long as you take into account the varied climate and weather of the country’s different regions—from the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts to the dunes of the Sahara and the mountainous interior—and plan your trip accordingly
If you are planning a trip to the desert, it is better to have it during the fall or early spring, because you undoubtedly do not want to travel from your country to escape the heat to find it there, and let you know that during the months of March and April you can face some sandstorms coming from the south, known as Sirocco.

What Our Client Say About Us
We had a 7 day tour organised to suit us by Wild Morocco Tours . Our driver Ali was a great driver and guide and provided specialist guides in most of the places we visited . We travelled from Casablanca to Fez, Mekenes, with two amazing days in the dessert through the Atlas Mountains to Maraketch seeing many interesting sights and villages along the way. We stayed in excellent Riads and hotels great views. I would highly recommend Wild Morocco Tours everything was well organised and nothing was too much trouble.
We Just finished a 4 day trip from Marrakech to Fez, me and my 5 years old son. I was a bit worried because of his Age but our driver Ali made It Easy and memorable. They organized everything carefully, keeping us updated and well informed in advance so everything went smoothly. About the tour itself It Is difficult spend more words as It Is astonishing. Strongly reccomended the tour, wild Morocco tours and Ali!
