Itinerary

Your best 3 Days from Fes Marrakech desert tour, begins around 7 a.m. leaving Fez toward Merzouga Desert. On our way, we will travel through Ifrane, which is known also as the Switzerland of Morocco, Midelt, and Ziz Valley (an Alouite dynasty that still rules Morocco). We will also stop at Cedar Forest where you will enjoy watching different kinds of birds and trees climbed by the Berber apes).

The journey continues until we stop to enjoy Ziz Oasis’s panoramic views. Before we arrive at Merzouga, we will visit Erfoud, which is famous for the production of fascinating fossils, and Rissani which has the largest Souks (traditional markets) in Morocco.

Rissani is also a royal family dynasty. After we reach Merzouga and take a short break, we will head toward Merzouga Desert where you will enjoy the sunset over the sand dunes. In a Berber camp, you will spend the night listening to music and drums.

On the second day of the tour and after the unforgettable night, you will be able to witness the amazing sunrise over the sand dunes if you wake up early. After having a nice breakfast, we will go back to Merzouga riding camelback for about an hour and a half. The tour continues to visit Tinghir and Todra Gorges (the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco) where we will have lunch.

Most visitors enjoy hiking in these series of limestone river canyons. The next place we will visit is Dades Valley. The majestic sand castles and monkey toes (a fascinating rock formation) in Ddaes Valley are a point of attraction for tourists. In Dades Gorges, you will spend the night at a hotel.

Through interesting Berber villages, we will travel after having breakfast in Dades Valley. The tour continues toward Ouarzazate going through Kalaat M’Gouna (The Valley of Roses). It is famous for the production of the Rosewater and Rose Festival which is held every year in May. Before we arrive at The Hollywood of Africa ( Ouarzazate), we travel via the amazing Kasbahs of Skoura oasis.

In Ouarzazate, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is a UNESCO World Heritage and is where the Studios Cinema is. This Kasbah served as a location to make many movies such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Alexander. On our way to Marrakech, we will travel through Tizi n’Tichka. It is the highest pass in Africa ( 2,260m over the High Atlas Mountains).

In the afternoon, you will be in Marrakech
