Itinerary

Bright & early, your adventure kicks off with a pick-up from the airport or your hotel in Marrakech. We drive through the wonderful High Atlas mountains and take the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Bring your camera! We’ll stop for some breathtaking views along the way.

Next up, we visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It’s a stronghold recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Did you know this Kasbah has been featured in movies like Gladiator and TV shows like Game of Thrones? Pretty cool! Then it’s off to “The Gate of the Desert,” Ouarzazate. Here, you’ll check out the Atlas Studio, where lots of movies were filmed & visit Taourirt Kasbah too.

After that, we explore Rose Valley. There’s an annual Rose Festival every May where locals show off their rose products like perfumes and rose water! Soon after, we drive to Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay at a lovely hotel or Riad.

After breakfast, get ready to be amazed by Dades Gorges’ gorgeous landscape. Next, we continue our journey to Todra Gorges. The river shaped a giant canyon here—think impressive red cliffs on both sides! You’ll have some time for lunch and can wander around to soak in all this beauty.

In the afternoon, we arrive at Merzouga in the Sahara desert! Time for an exciting camel ride across those sandy dunes! When we reach a tall dune, we’ll pause to enjoy a stunning sunset. Our night wraps up at a luxury camp where you can listen to Berber drumming and dance by the campfire under a sky full of stars—with dinner served too!

Wake up early; you won’t want to miss that beautiful sunrise over the desert! After breakfast is done, hop back on camels to return to Merzouga where your driver awaits.

Today is all about exploring Merzouga! So many wonderful spots await you—sand dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossils areas & lovely oases perfect for outdoor fun.

We’ll start by visiting an old eyeliner mine before meeting nomads living nearby in their woven tents. They’ll share how they live while you enjoy some tasty Berber tea together! After this cool experience, we head to Khamlia village where you’ll catch some fantastic Gnaoua music and dancing. Lunch will follow at a restaurant nearby.

Later on, let’s take a nice stroll through a palm grove followed by a drive to see Merzouga’s wild lake—also known as Flamingo Lake! Dinner awaits at a hotel tonight!

It’s already Day 4 of this exciting journey! Early morning is best for catching another gorgeous sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, it’s back on camels once more to reach Merzouga where our driver will be waiting.

Next stop: Rissani town—once upon a time, it was Tafilalet’s capital! It’s still bustling with life today—with major trading happening especially during lively souks on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays. Stroll around here before heading over to Erfoud to visit one of its fossil marble workshops.

Driving along Ziz River brings us lovely views in Ziz Valley; don’t forget your camera again! Lunch will be free time in Midelt after which we’ll reach Cedar Forest where charming Barbary Macaques hang out—you can even feed them while wandering!

Finally? We’ll visit Ifrane with its cool temperatures and snow-covered peaks—it really does resemble Switzerland! And then we drop you off at Fes airport or your accommodation there.
