Additionally, you will stop by Midelt, the Ziz valley, the traditional market in Rissani, and the fossil city of Erfoud. Your journey continues into the mesmerizing Sahara desert of Merzouga, where you will embark on a camel ride and spend a night at a desert camp, cherishing the enchanting sunset and sunrise. You will also explore the stunning Todra and Dades gorges, and the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. As we traverse the High Atlas mountains, we will cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. This bustling city, Morocco’s economic hub, offers a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, perched on the Atlantic
coast. After lunch, take a leisurely tour of the city, ending the day with an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.
Post-breakfast, we travel along the scenic coast to Rabat, the nation’s capital, where you’ll explore key landmarks like the
Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah. After lunch, we head north to the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen in the Rif
Mountains, where you’ll stay overnight in a local hotel.
Discover the charm of Chefchaouen’s blue-painted medina. Spend your morning wandering its vibrant streets, capturing
the beauty of its unique architecture. Enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, hike to the Spanish Mosque for
breathtaking views of the city. Return to your hotel for another night in this picturesque town.
Start your day with a final stroll through Chefchaouen before heading to Volubilis, a site of well-preserved Roman ruins.
After exploring, we drive to Meknes, where you’ll visit its historical sites such as Bab Al-Mansour and the Royal Stables. Our
journey continues to Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional Riad.
Today, you dive into the rich culture of Fes with a local guide. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the lively old Medina, and iconic
sites like the Bouanania Madrasa and Quaraouin Mosque. After exploring the Jewish quarter, we’ll take you to a vantage
point for panoramic views of the city before returning to your Riad.
Travel south through scenic landscapes to Ifrane, known as Morocco’s “Switzerland.” Enjoy the cedar forests before
continuing through the Ziz Valley. Reach Merzouga by afternoon, where you’ll swap wheels for camels and traverse the
desert, pausing to watch the sunset from a dune. Experience a night in a desert camp with traditional music and a starlit
sky.
Rise early to witness a desert sunrise. After breakfast, return to Merzouga and spend the day exploring local attractions.
Visit a historic eyeliner mine, meet nomads, enjoy Gnaoua music in Khamlia, and stroll through palm groves. Visit
Merzouga Lake, then head back for dinner and a hotel stay.
Leave the desert behind and explore Rissani’s vibrant market. Visit a fossil workshop in Erfoud before heading to Todra
Gorges, famous for its towering red cliffs. After lunch, continue to Dades Valley, stopping at the “monkey fingers” rock
formations. Spend the night in a hotel with views of the valley.
Journey to the Rose Valley, known for its fragrant products. Travel through Skoura’s palm groves to Ouarzazate, visiting film
